New Obama Fundraising Email: President Doesn't Have Much Time For Grassroots Supporters

But there is one group of people Obama has to listen to: the people who give him large sums of money. He recently attended his 150th fundraiser. That's more than the number attended by the last four presidents put together.

Obama has seen enough Architectural Digest-type interiors in Park Avenue triplexes and Beverly Hills mansions, and on the block in San Francisco's Pacific Heights, where every house is owned by a billionaire, to develop an expertise in Louis XV walnut commodes and Brunschwig & Fils fabrics.

He's also had plenty of chances to absorb the advice of the kind of rich liberals who like to give money to Democratic presidents.

Now here's the fundraising email Obama campaign campaign sent out this morning:

I'm about to sit down for lunch with a few grassroots supporters who are being flown in from Arizona, Maryland, Michigan, and Ohio.

It'll just be me and these four supporters, with enough time to relax and have a real conversation.

I can't wait.

I'm not going to get to do too many more of these before November. That's just a fact.

Something tells me that if the president is having trouble scheduling time with grassroots supporters, he'll have no trouble finding time to spend in Park Avenue triplexes, Beverly Hills mansions, and in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood.
